Madison Pearl is partnering with a government entity to expand their Information Security & Risk team. They are seeking an Associate Manager – Information Security to join them to support the implementation, operation, and continual improvement of the organization’s Information Security Management System (ISMS)

Key responsibilities:

• Provide strategic oversight and technical leadership for enterprise information security by advising on Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery for critical systems.
• Conduct threat modelling and security risk assessments and guide secure architecture across key security domains.
• Strengthen governance and compliance through audit readiness (ISO 27001, DESC ISR), policy and framework enhancement, and risk-based control selection.
• Partner with senior management to classify and protect information assets, evaluate security risks across IT initiatives, and embed a consistent, organization-wide risk assessment methodology aligned with evolving threats and regulatory requirements.

Key requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field from a recognized university.
• 3 – 6 years of progressive relevant experience.
• Proven experience in developing, implementing, and maintaining an Information Security Management System (ISMS) aligned with standards such as ISO 27001 and DESC ISR.
• Exposure to cybersecurity frameworks and regulations, such as NIST, COBIT, ITIL, and ISO standards.
• Only Emiratis will be considered.
