TECHNICAL PROJECT MANAGER — MVP Launch™ (Dubai)

  • Location: Dubai (On-site / Hybrid)
  • Compensation: $5,000 USD per month (will scale as company grows)
  • Company: MVP Launch™ (mvplaunch.com)
  • Type: Full-Time (40+ hrs/week)

🎥 FILMING REQUIREMENT — BEFORE YOU START

This role requires content filming in Dubai before your official start date.

We're building MVP Launch from the ground up — the marketing website, the product, the brand. Before we go live and you begin working with clients, you'll film a half-day content shoot at a professional studio in Dubai.

What you'll film:

  • Educational course content for our Skool community
  • 30+ Meta ads (cold, warm, and hot funnel)
  • Video Sales Letter segments (to close cold traffic)
  • Pre-sell "lobby videos" that make sales calls easy
  • Long-form YouTube educational content
  • Hundreds of short-form clips for social distribution

Important: Filming is ongoing. This isn't a one-time shoot. You'll regularly create ads, shorts, and long-form YouTube content as we scale. You must have at least some experience talking to a camera comfortably and professionally.

Initial filming details:

  • Duration: 5–8 hours
  • Payment: $300 USD (paid before work officially begins)
  • Location: Dubai (red-themed studio at https://dubai.poddster.com/)
  • Format: Mix of podcast-style conversations + direct-to-camera educational content
  • Wardrobe: Bring multiple professional outfits for variety

Why this matters: This content will be used across our ads, website, and onboarding.

You'll be the face of MVP Launch's technical delivery for our U.S.-based audience, so you need to be confident on camera and articulate in clear U.S.-style English (no heavy accents).

Timeline:

  • Filming happens first
  • Content gets edited while we finish building the product
  • You start working full-time 2–4 weeks after filming when we go live and have real clients
  • During this time, you'll be active in our Slack as we prepare for launch

If you're not comfortable being on video or speaking on camera professionally, this role isn't for you.

About MVP Launch

MVP Launch™ exists to solve one massive problem: non-technical founders who can't build software companies on their own.

We don't just "build MVPs." We don't outsource to random freelancers. We don't hand over code and disappear.

Here's what we actually do:

We place a pre-vetted founding engineer directly into a founder's company, manage the entire build process as their fractional CTO, and launch a production-ready MVP in 8 weeks or less.

Think Toptal + Y Combinator + Stripe Atlas, packaged as a done-for-you product that actually ships.

Our offer:

  • $25,000 MVP Build (Engineer Placement + 8-week delivery)

We guarantee the product goes live in 8 weeks. If it doesn't, they don't pay the remaining balance.

We only work with validated founders making $20k+ per month minimum. No side projects. No unproven ideas. Only serious operators with traction.

Your role is critical: You're the person who makes sure we actually ship on time, every time.

What You'll Do (Day-to-Day)

You are the orchestrator.

You take a founder's idea → scope an MVP → build the architecture → guide engineers → ensure delivery.

This role combines:

  • Technical leadership (CTO-level thinking)
  • Project management (aggressive timelines)
  • Execution management (managing 10–30 engineers across multiple projects)
  • Client communication (working with non-technical founders)

Your responsibilities:

✅ Run kickoff calls with new founders

✅ Translate business requirements into technical scope

✅ Choose the tech stack (we do not allow engineers to guess)

✅ Create the GitHub repo + architecture map + sprint board

✅ Manage engineers and weekly demo cadence

✅ Ensure the MVP is live in 8 weeks — no excuses

✅ Review pull requests and ensure quality (not just "done", but deployable)

✅ Maintain architecture consistency across multiple projects

✅ Coordinate weekly demo calls with founders

✅ Ensure Stripe Connect + billing setup is completed at launch

✅ Escalate issues proactively — no surprises

You own the outcome.

You're not a "task forwarder." You're a technical decision-maker who ensures engineers don't ship garbage and everything stays consistent.

Who This Role Is For

You are:

✅ Someone who thinks like a CTO, but delivers like a PM

✅ A technical engineer with 7+ years of experience (you can read code and reason about systems)

✅ Someone who has shipped real products (not just managed tickets)

✅ Excellent at stakeholder communication (especially with non-technical founders)

✅ Someone who enjoys fast-paced environments where speed matters

✅ Fluent in clear U.S.-style English (our clients are U.S.-based)

✅ Camera-ready and confident on video (this is non-negotiable)

✅ Have at least some experience talking to a camera for content creation

Required experience:

  • 7+ years as a full-stack engineer OR 3+ years in CTO / Tech Lead role
  • Strong experience with modern SaaS stack (e.g. Next.js, React, PostgreSQL, Supabase, AWS, Stripe integration)
  • You can scope and structure an MVP from just a Figma or a conversation
  • Experience delivering multiple concurrent builds at once
  • Ability to translate business outcomes → development tasks

Preferred experience:

  • Experience in accelerators, agency delivery, or venture studios
  • Ability to guide UI/UX for usability and speed
  • FinTech/Stripe Connect setup (vendor lock, multi-party payouts)
  • Prior ownership of engineering delivery pipelines

What Success Looks Like (First 90 Days)

✅ Build a repeatable project delivery system inside GitHub/Notion

✅ Manage 5–10 active builds at a time

✅ Reduce decision bottlenecks for engineers

✅ 100% on-time delivery within 8-week guarantee
