We are currently looking for an Project Coordinator with a strong background in the fit-out industry to join our creative and dynamic team.

Job Overview:

We are looking for a skilled Project Coordinator with strong experience in managing the components of retail fit-out projects, (shop fittings, floor tiles, light fitting, etc.). The ideal candidate will coordinate all technical and execution aspects of Front-of-House (FOH) and Back-of-House (BOH) spaces, ensuring that installations align with operational, safety, and design standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and manage the fit-out and installation of all FOH and BOH areas including stockrooms, service corridors, loading bays, staff areas, and utility rooms.
• Facilitate the design review, procurement, and installation of racking systems tailored for stockroom and storage functionality.
• Work closely with retail operations, designers, racking suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure FOH and BOH layout efficiency and compliance.
• Ensure FOH and BOH MEP systems are integrated with racking and other FOH and BOH infrastructure.
• Conduct technical reviews of racking shop drawings, installation manuals, and load-bearing specifications.
• Coordinate with mall management, landlords, and local authorities to ensure adherence to UAE codes, safety regulations, and fit-out guidelines.
• Plan and supervise the delivery, assembly, and anchoring of racking units in accordance with safety standards and operational requirements.
• Manage snag lists and ensure timely rectification of FOH and BOH-related issues before handover.
• Maintain accurate project records including FOH and BOH layouts, material approvals, and inspection reports.
• Support the commissioning and final handover process for FOH and BOH areas.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Engineering, or Construction Management.
• 2 years’ experience in FOH and BOH coordination within retail fit-out projects preferably with actual experience of well-known vendors.
• Demonstrated experience in Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment (FF&E).
• Proven track record of working with contractors, consultants, and landlords in a fit-out environment or mall-based projects in the UAE.
• Proficient in reading architectural and MEP drawings and coordinating these with FOH and BOH layouts.
• Knowledge of UAE authority regulations (Dubai Municipality, Civil Defense, etc.) and mall-specific requirements an added advantage.
• With valid UAE driving license.
• Strong coordination, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and project management tools.
