Role Purpose:

To manage the syndicate’s delegated authority portfolio, ensuring compliance with Lloyd’s standards and internal governance. The role will also focus on leveraging data analytics to monitor performance, identify trends, and support strategic decision-making.


Key Responsibilities:

Delegated Authority Management:

  • Oversee onboarding and oversight of Coverholders.
  • Ensure adherence to Lloyd’s Minimum Standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records as required in Atlas, BAR, and other Lloyd’s systems.
  • Conduct due diligence, audits, and performance reviews of delegated partners.

Data & Analytics:

  • Develop and maintain dashboards for delegated business performance.
  • Analyze bordereaux data for premium, claims, and risk exposure trends.
  • Support underwriting teams with insights for portfolio optimization.
  • Ensure data quality and timely reporting to Lloyd’s and internal stakeholders.

Governance & Compliance:

  • Implement robust controls for delegated authority agreements.
  • Liaise with compliance and audit teams to ensure regulatory alignment.
  • Prepare reports for internal committees and Lloyd’s oversight.


Objectives (First 12 Months):

  • Establish a delegated authority governance framework aligned with Lloyd’s standards.
  • Implement a bordereaux management process with automated data validation.
  • Develop a reporting dashboard for delegated business performance.
  • Complete onboarding and due diligence for all active Coverholders.


Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

Compliance, Data Quality, Timeliness, Audit Completion, Portfolio Insights


Skills & Experience:

  • Experience with bordereaux analysis.
  • Proficiency in data tools (Excel, Power BI, SQL or similar).
  • Knowledge of Lloyd’s environment, delegated business
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Insurance, Risk Management, Data Analytics, or related field.
  • ACII or progress toward ACII preferred.
