UX/UI Design Lead (Contract)

About the Role

We are looking for a UX/UI Design Lead to create intuitive, accessible, and engaging digital experiences. In this role, you’ll work closely with product and leadership teams, lead design direction, and help shape user-focused digital solutions. You’ll also mentor designers and contribute to innovative design work from concept through delivery.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and inspire designers and key stakeholders
• Design and improve user interfaces for digital platforms
• Create personas, wireframes, and interactive prototypes
• Maintain and evolve a shared design system in Figma
• Conduct usability testing and apply insights to designs
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align design with business goals
• Research user needs and industry trends to inform design decisions
• Prototype and test new ideas before full implementation

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of UX/UI design experience
• Strong portfolio showcasing user-centered digital design
• Solid understanding of UX/UI and visual design principles
• Experience with Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud, and related tools
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• High attention to detail
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Experience in healthcare or complex digital environments is an asset

• Extensions: Possible (up to a maximum of 24 months total)
