Key Responsibilities
- Develop advanced control algorithms for high-precision applications in manufacturing equipment, including motion control, servo control, thermal control, force control, etc.
- Lead the vibration analysis for ultra-precision equipment or modules by conducting open-loop and closed-loop vibration assessments, collaborating with the mechanical design team to predict vibration characteristics.
- Develop vibration control strategies using passive, active, or semi-active control technologies to improve equipment performance & stability.
- Design, develop, verify, and optimize the performance of control systems, encompassing electrical/electronic systems, control-related hardware, software, firmware, sensors, and instruments.
- Conduct equipment or module system-level testing and validation, evaluate design effectiveness based on experimental data, and work with mechanical design team to continuously improve system design
- Support equipment development and manufacturing teams in resolving technical issues related to control systems, while continuously enhancing system stability and reliability.
- Collaborate closely with Mechanical Design, Simulation, Process, and other departments to ensure the successful development, integration, and debugging of the entire process and equipment prior to mass production.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Master's degree or higher in Automation, Control Engineering, Mechatronics, Mechanics, or a related discipline.
- Over 5 years of experience in developing motion control systems, particularly in the semiconductor or optical equipment sectors.
- Strong theoretical foundation in control theory, kinematics, and system simulation, with the ability to develop algorithms employing both modern control theories and traditional methods (e.g., PID).
- Expertise in motion control system development, servo system design and debugging, with familiarity in various hardware (motion control cards, servo amplifiers, etc.) and software (Matlab, Python, etc.).
- Experience in mechatronics, specifically in mechanical dynamics and vibration analysis and control; adept in experimental methods and relevant tools.
- Proficient in multiple programming languages (e.g., C, C++, C#, etc.).
- Strong innovative capabilities, excellent problem-solving skills, and a proven track record of teamwork, with the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
- Proficient in both English and Mandarin, with the ability to read, write, and communicate fluently.
