Based at our Corporate Office in Singapore, we are looking for a passionate and energetic individual to join us as IT Project Manager (1-Year Contract).
Job Responsibilities
Reporting to the Chief Technology Officer, the IT Project Manager is responsible for leading technology initiatives that support hotel and hospitality operations and digital transformation. This role manages end-to-end delivery of IT projects such as Property Management Systems (PMS) and Sales and Catering System (S&C) with infrastructure and cybersecurity knowledge.
Primary Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Delivery
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of hospitality IT projects from initiation through closure
- Define project scope, objectives, timelines, budgets, and resource requirements
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans aligned with hotel operational calendars
- Ensure minimal disruption to hotel operations and guest services during implementation
Hospitality Systems and Technology
- Manage implementation and upgrades of hospitality systems including PMS, S&C and CRM platforms
- Coordinate system integrations between core hotel systems and third-party vendors
- Work with infrastructure team on network, servers and cloud services setup and assessment.
- Ensure data integrity, system security, and compliance with corporate and regulatory standards
Stakeholder and Vendor Management
- Partner closely with hotel operations, front office, F&B, housekeeping, finance, and revenue teams.
- Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, IT teams, and technology vendors
- Manage vendor contracts, SLAs, and deliverables
- Coordinate multi-site rollouts across hotels or regions
Risk, Change, and Issue Management
- Identify operational, technical, and guest-impact risks and implement mitigation plans
- Manage change requests, ensuring business impact assessment and approvals
- Proactively resolve issues and escalate critical risks where necessary
Testing, Training, and Go-Live Support
- Oversee system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and operational readiness
- Coordinate end-user training for hotel and corporate teams
- Manage cutover, go-live, and hypercare support to ensure system stability
Reporting and Governance
- Track and report project status, milestones, risks, and financials
- Ensure compliance with IT governance, security policies, and brand standards
- Prepare executive-level updates and steering committee materials
Project Closure and Continuous Improvement
- Ensure formal handover to IT operations, corporate and hotel teams
- Conduct post-implementation reviews and document lessons learned
- Identify opportunities to improve future project delivery and system performance
The Person:
- Possess 3–7 years of IT project management experience, preferably within hospitality or travel environments
- Possess Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, Hospitality Management, or related field and Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, Agile) preferred
- Hands-on experience delivering hotel systems or multi-property IT projects in a global or regional setting
- Knowledge of hospitality platforms (e.g. Opera PMS, Delphi Sales and Catering)
- Familiarity with cybersecurity, data privacy, and PCI-DSS requirements
- Experience working in matrix or corporate–property operating models
- Experience working with third-party hospitality technology vendors Oracle, Amadeus
- Strong understanding of hotel operations and guest journey touchpoints
- Proven ability to manage projects in 24/7 operational environments
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Strong vendor and contract management capabilities
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g. MS Project, Jira, Smartsheet)
- Ability to manage concurrent projects across multiple properties
