Our Client is looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer, Android to join their high-performing mobile team. You’ll work with modern tools, top-tier hardware, and collaborative agile squads to build intuitive, high-quality mobile experiences.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and maintain Android applications that align with product goals and follow established engineering standards.
- Work closely with designers, engineers, QA, and product partners to deliver smooth, engaging user experiences.
- Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to delivering high-quality work on time.
- Advocate for mobile best practices and stay engaged with the wider developer community.
- Stay current with mobile technologies, including Kotlin, Swift, and leading third-party libraries.
- Contribute to team discussions, share feedback, and support continuous improvement.
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers and help grow their technical skills.
- Collaborate with cross-functional developers across Android, iOS, backend, and web teams.
- Lead major feature development and platform components alongside senior engineers and architects.
- Promote best practices and support enhancements across multiple sprint teams.
- Identify technical challenges early and work with the team to develop creative solutions.
- Review pull requests to ensure adherence to Kotlin and language best practices.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 3+ years of professional software engineering experience
- 2+ years of Android development experience
- 2+ years of Kotlin experience
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience building Android applications
- 3+ years of experience with Kotlin
- 1+ years of experience in open source frameworks
- 1+ years of experience with Agile practices
