Position Purpose
This role will be working across all the Social Media & Digital activity ensuring that Harvey Nichols Doha has authority in fashion, beauty and lifestyle on social media. The role will be accountable for all our social media channels, which include Instagram Facebook and Tik Tok.
He/She will also be expected to work within the guidelines of the Harvey Nichols social media strategy, as well as creating and uploading exciting social first content.
The long-term objective is to nurture and grow our social media channels by improving engagement and reach as well as expanding into new platforms.
Key Functions
- Social Media- Working to deliver our social media strategy which clearly outlines what social media channels we have (and why) as well as our approach to each of these channels in a way that is unique and differentiated in the market.
- Support with social specific ideation for content across Instagram, Facebook and Tik Tok, for video, still and story formats.
- Propose new ideas and strategies to stay one step ahead of the competition, whilst also monitoring & informing key stakeholders.
- Support the Head of Creative & Marketing and Collaborate with the Marketing Executive on the calendar planning, ensuring requests from all departments are supported, strategically placed, and posted in a timely manner.
- Be confident filming social first/organic photography content for use across Instagram reels, videos and Tik Tok. Be able to react quickly to emerging trends and implement these trends in a Harvey Nichols tone of voice.
- Source brand quality & juser generated content and brand imagery, that reflects the Harvey Nichols tone of voice, on a weekly basis for use across social media channels.
- Work closely with the team to ensure we are distributing content on our social media channels that is aligned with our brand vision and has the HN authority.
- Work closely with the retail store to ensure a regional presence is reflected on our social channels is of high quality and reflects our brand.
- Ensure social asset deadlines are met
- Monitor KPIs for measuring the success of social media channels, analyze, review, and report on effectiveness of (new) initiatives.
- Deliver monthly analysis reports of Harvey Nichols Social Media channels and give insights into competitors
- Stay abreast of social media updates, trends, and opportunities across all key platforms.
- Organization and management of all Harvey Nichols Media activity
- Supporting the media team with creating activity reports
- Overseeing contracts and invoicing under instruction from the media team
- Supporting the scheduling of all activity
- Overseeing the briefing process for all activity
- Supporting with maintaining the media portfolio folders
- Working closely and building strong relationships with all areas of the business (buying, creative, marketing, online, finance etc)

Onboarding Profile
- Bachelor’s degree: Digital Marketing, PR, Journalism, Photography, Film or related (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience in Marketing, Digital, and social media with demonstrated success in the role(s) working for either a brand or an agency.
- Excellent experience in social media community management.
- Excellent knowledge of local social media landscape.
- Strong experience of using social media management tools.
- Confident creating social first video content.
