HR Manager – Relocation to APAC
A well-established international medical practice is seeking a hands-on Human Resources Manager to oversee the day-to-day management and coordination of multiple sites within the same city in Southeast Asian country.
The role requires close coordination across locations and a strong on-the-ground presence, ensuring smooth operations and effective people management.
This is a mission-critical role demanding strategic insight, agility, and the ability to manage diverse teams and shifting business needs with speed and confidence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations across multiple sites, ensuring efficiency, consistency, and quality of service
- Manage HR-related activities, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee relations
- Lead or support strategic operational projects aimed at improving efficiency, scalability, and overall performance
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business goals
- Support expatriate relocation, work permits, and documentation in coordination with HR and legal teams
- Monitor performance metrics and implement process improvements across sites
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws, safety regulations, and company policies
- Use data-driven insights to elevate performance, engagement, and team dynamics
- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership and a bridge to multicultural, cross-functional teams
- Liaise with external partners, legal counsel, and regulatory bodies as needed
- Lead and develop an HR team across multiple locations
Requirements:
- 5–7+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in fast-paced or regulated environments
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in HR (mandatory for work permit eligibility)
- Strong HR knowledge with a collaborative mindset
- Fluent in English with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Willingness to relocate to the APAC region, with occasional local travel
- Experience working in international or multicultural teams
- Solid understanding of HR operations, compliance, and the employee lifecycle
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, communicate clearly, and solve problems proactively
- Calm under pressure and proactive in finding effective solutions
