Role and Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using Java 8/11, Spring Boot, and PostgreSQL.
• Design, develop, and maintain microservices using Java Spring Boot.
• Good understanding of SQL/PLSQL Programming.
• Hands on experience in writing complex stored procedures/views/functions.
• Hands on experience in improving the performance for sql queries or stored procedures.
• Develop scalable enterprise applications and microservices using AWS Cloud services such as SQS and SNS.
• Implement Java Lambda expressions and Collection classes effectively.
• Write JUnit tests to ensure complete test coverage.
• Understand user requirements to create application design documents and ensure application objectives are met.
• Configure and deploy CI/CD services using Jenkins.
• Develop new/custom modules to integrate with existing platforms.
• Apply best practices in architecting, designing, and implementing microservices, databases, and AWS solutions.
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Must Have:

• Bachelor's/master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Java, Spring Boot, JUnit, and PostgreSQL.
• Solid understanding of Git.
• Experience working in an Agile environment.
• Strong knowledge of object-oriented concepts and design patterns.
• Ability to improve code quality by implementing best practices.
• Experience in integrating third-party modules and extending existing ones.
• Ability to troubleshoot, debug, and fix issues independently.
• Experience with AWS services is a plus.
• Exposure to reactive programming using ReactiveX.
• Experience with Liquibase, Splunk, Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes.
