Summary
The Business Analyst will serve as a key analytical partner, responsible for transforming complex data into meaningful insights that support strategic decision-making. This role focuses on developing analysis, dashboards, and visualizations that enable program leaders to identify opportunities, manage risk, and drive performance. The ideal candidate is a proactive change champion who can collaborate effectively with stakeholders and communicate insights clearly to leadership. This position plays a critical role in monthly and quarterly program reviews through the delivery of actionable, data-backed recommendations.
Job Description
- Analyze large, complex data sets to identify trends, risks, and opportunities that inform strategic decisions.
- Design, develop, and maintain dashboards and data visualizations to support leadership and program stakeholders.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into analytical solutions.
- Create and maintain Tableau reports and advanced Excel models to support ongoing program analysis.
- Develop and execute data analysis using databases and T-SQL to ensure accuracy and reliability of insights.
- Prepare and deliver clear, concise presentations and PowerPoint decks for monthly and quarterly program review sessions.
- Support planning, needs analysis, and risk assessment activities with data-driven insights.
- Champion process improvements and the adoption of new analytical tools, methodologies, and ideas.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Information Technology, Computer Science, or another quantitative discipline.
- 3+ years of experience in data management, analysis, and visualization, preferably within a Fortune 500 or top-tier consulting environment.
- Strong proficiency in Tableau with intermediate to advanced database and T-SQL skills.
- Advanced Excel skills, including complex formulas, charts, and data modeling.
- Experience creating professional PowerPoint presentations for executive audiences.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present insights clearly.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
- Experience with Python, C#, PowerShell, SSIS packages, or Visual Studio is a plus but not required.
