We enable everyday users to interact directly with non-custodial blockchain wallets without the complexity of seed phrases or gas fees. We are currently undergoing a major shift from a web-based experience to a world-class mobile app. We are looking for a technical leader to build the operational engine that will power this next phase of growth.

The Role

We don’t need an Operations Manager to just "run the business." We need an Architect.

In this role, you will design, build, and automate the systems that allow Picnic to scale safely and efficiently. You will treat operations as a product—constantly iterating on workflows, integrating APIs, and deploying AI to ensure that as our user base grows 100x, our overhead doesn't. You will sit at the intersection of smart contract logic, regulatory compliance, and high-performance finance.

Your Core Responsibilities

• System Architecture: Design and own the "Operating System" for Picnic. You will build the tooling, workflows, and controls for Customer Support, Risk, and Finance Ops from first principles.

• AI-First Support: Own and evolve our Customer Support AI product. Your goal is to maximize CSAT while minimizing human intervention through aggressive automation and proactive issue resolution.

• Risk & Compliance Infrastructure: Define SOPs for a non-custodial environment. You will handle complex cases, design fraud prevention loops, and ensure our execution remains compliant with evolving regulations.

• Finance Operations: Build the rails for cash flow management and financial reporting. You will oversee the bridge between traditional fiat banking and on-chain transaction execution.

• Data-Driven Leadership: Define and track operational KPIs. You won’t just report numbers; you will use data to identify bottlenecks and build the automated solutions to fix them.

Who You Are

• Technically Rigorous: You hold a degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a similarly rigorous field. You are comfortable reading API documentation, writing SQL, or building complex automations.

• Systems Thinker: You don't just solve problems; you build systems that prevent the problem from happening again. You have experience scaling operations in a high-growth fintech or crypto environment.

• A "Low-Code/No-Code" or Coding Wizard: You are proficient with tools like Zapier, Retool, or Airtable, and you know how to leverage LLMs to automate manual workflows.

• Strategically Minded: You understand the nuances of the Brazilian financial market and the technical hurdles of non-custodial crypto. You can balance speed, compliance, and user experience.
