Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Dot Net Full Stack Developer based in Sydney, NSW. Responsibilities include designing, developing, and maintaining both front-end and back-end components of web applications. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, writing efficient code, ensuring the responsiveness of applications, and troubleshooting any software issues.

Required Skills & ExperienceCore Technical Expertise

• 10+ years strong experience in .NET / C#.
• 9+ years experience building and consuming REST APIs.
• 3+ years experience with Microservices architecture.
• 6+ years experience in Angular development.
• 2+ years experience with React.js/Next.js
• 2+ years experience working with AWS Cloud.
• Strong experience with Entity Framework, LINQ, SQL Server, NoSQL (optional).
• Experience with Unit Testing (NUnit, xUnit, Jest, Jasmine etc.)

Key ResponsibilitiesBackend Development (.NET – Primary)

• Design and develop enterprise-grade solutions using .NET, .NET Core, C#.
• Build scalable and high-performance RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Implement microservices architecture using .NET Core, messaging systems, and containerization.
• Optimize application performance, memory usage, and reliability.

Frontend Development

• Develop and maintain web applications using Angular (6+) and React frameworks.
• Build reusable UI components, services, and modules.
• Ensure responsive design, UI best practices, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Collaborate with UX teams to integrate modern UI/UX principles.

Cloud & DevOps (AWS)

• Deploy and maintain applications on AWS (EC2, Lambda, S3, API Gateway, RDS, CloudWatch, etc.).
• Implement CI/CD pipelines (AWS CodePipeline, GitHub, Jenkins, or similar).
• Ensure cloud security best practices, IAM roles, and cost optimization.

Microservices & Architecture

• Design scalable, distributed microservices.
• Work with Docker, Kubernetes, or containerization tools.
• Integrate third-party APIs and internal systems.
• Participate in architecture discussions and technical roadmaps.
