Python Developer

This project is set in a completely new and innovative domain within Life Sciences: personalised medicine. This means that therapies are fully tailored to the patient based on their biopsy. For this reason, the application must comply with strict GxP standards, which place very specific demands on both developers and processes.

We follow an agile approach, working in iterative steps. While this is common in IT development projects, it presents additional challenges in a GxP environment. Fortunately, we have an experienced compliance expert who ensures that all requirements are met, allowing the team to focus entirely on development.

The objective is to make the current software GxP-compliant and to initiate re-platforming later in the year. This is essential to meet stringent audits, such as those conducted by the FDA, and to prepare the application for production in a regulated environment. A software architect within the client’s team supports this process, but there is an urgent need for three Python developers.

Senior Python Developer

The focus is on finding someone who is not only highly skilled in Python but can also take on a leading role within the team and play a significant role in QA. This person must:

• Ensure code quality by establishing coding best practices.
• Guide and coach team members in adhering to these standards.
• Actively perform code reviews.

Preferred Skills:

• Nextflow experience: Preferred but not essential.
• Pharma knowledge: Nice to have but less critical than ensuring code quality and having experience in similar projects.
