We’re looking for a People & Capability Coordinator to join our Bairnsdale team and play a vital role in supporting our workforce, enhancing employee experience, and driving our strategic People initiatives.

About The Role
As our People & Capability Coordinator, you will support the full employee lifecycle and be a key partner to our Operations team. Your responsibilities will include:
Talent Acquisition & Onboarding
- Support national recruitment activities, including on-site assessment centres and group interviews
- Prepare employment contracts and assist with variations
- Own and deliver site-based onboarding programs
- Partner with Operations to build and maintain rosters for all production employees
- Monitor labour requirements and communicate changes to stakeholders
- Work with team leaders to optimise rostering for efficiency and production KPI achievement
- Liaise with agency partners to fill labour needs at short notice
- Act as the first point of contact for P&C queries, providing policy interpretation, HRIS support and general guidance
- Manage leave requests and ensure compliance with process and documentation
- Manage site consumables and support payroll enquiries
- Coordinate offboarding processes
- Support strategic initiatives including Talent Mapping, Succession Planning, Skills Assessments and capability frameworks
- Champion P&C initiatives and contribute to continuous improvement
- Administer HRIS data with a strong focus on accuracy and data integrity
- Draft EA contracts with attention to detail and IR awareness
- Support adherence to Modern Awards, Enterprise Agreements and relevant legislation
- Workforce availability to meet production needs
- Compliance with critical P&C processes
- Labour utilisation versus capacity
- No labour shortages impacting DIFFOT targets
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing capability
- High level of organisation and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Resilience, creativity and a proactive mindset
- Strong communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work both strategically and operationally
- Comfort in a fast-moving, agile environment
- Collaborative, energetic and commercially savvy approach
- Prior experience in the FMCG industry
