Our client is delivering a strategic digital modernisation initiative focused on improving core feedback, evaluation, and data-driven decision-making processes across the organisation. As part of this program, they are seeking an experienced Project Coordinator / Project Officer to support the successful delivery of a key transformation project.
This role will work closely with the Project Manager, providing hands-on coordination, governance, and operational support to maintain momentum, structure, and delivery discipline across the project. You will play a key role in enabling the project team to achieve targeted strategic outcomes and measurable business benefits.
- Initial contract until mid-December 2026.
- Based in Kelvin Grove with 2-days of WFH each week.
Responsibilities
- Support the day-to-day coordination of a strategic digital transformation project, ensuring effective governance, documentation, and delivery cadence.
- Provide secretariat support across key project forums, including scheduling, agenda preparation, minute taking, and maintenance of actions, decisions, risks, and issues registers.
- Maintain and update the project schedule using appropriate project management tools to track progress and dependencies.
- Prepare accurate and timely status reporting, assist with updates to business cases, and draft briefing and information papers for review.
- Support project financial administration, including budget tracking, updating finance workbooks, timesheets, and reconciliation activities.
- Assist with risk and issue management by ensuring items are documented, reviewed, and mitigation actions are monitored.
- Coordinate project team activities including onboarding, resourcing coordination, reporting, and financial tracking.
- Support consistent project ways of working across the team and contribute to continuous improvement of delivery practices.
- Assist with organising workshops and meetings, including logistics, materials, and stakeholder coordination.
- Manage project communication channels, shared inboxes, and stakeholder distribution lists.
The successful candidate will bring proven experience supporting project delivery as a Project Coordinator or Project Officer. You will be highly organised, confident working with governance frameworks and project tools, and comfortable coordinating across technical teams, business stakeholders, and vendors. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment will be essential.
