Role Overview:

The role involves maintaining and migrating applications from a NetIQ NAM legacy system (on-premise) to Okta while ensuring secure access management. Key tasks include application migration, working with identity and access management (IAM) tools, and implementing authentication protocols like SAML, OpenID Connect, and SCIM. The developer will collaborate closely with the product architect and participate in Agile Scrum activities.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and secure the NetIQ NAM system.
Migrate applications to Okta and remove applications with external access.
Plan the decommissioning of NetIQ NAM.
Connect applications to Okta using SAML, OpenID Connect, and SCIM protocols.
Support the product architect by helping with the product backlog and refining product features.
Participate in Scrum events and support the Product Owner (PO) in delivering capabilities as per the specifications.

Essential Skills:

5+ years experience in Identity & Access Management (IAM).
3+ years experience with Access Management (AM) tooling.
Experience with REST APIs, SCIM, OAuth, and OIDC protocols.
Familiarity with NetIQ Access Manager, Apache, Tomcat, Java, and reverse proxy setup.
Linux knowledge is a plus.
Experience handling application migrations and onboardings for IAM.
Strong understanding of authentication, authorization, and access management processes.
Experience working in an Agile Scrum team.
Knowledge of security technologies, best practices, and policy frameworks.

Desirable Skills:

Strong work ethic and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Motivation to drive change and grow personally in a dynamic environment.
Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
