This is a high-impact role sitting at the intersection of technology, regulation, and crisis management, with particular focus on DORA readiness, ICT resilience, and encryption-related incident handling.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end management of ICT incidents, ensuring rapid detection, escalation, resolution, and post-incident analysis to minimise business disruption.
- Lead incident communications across EU operations, including internal stakeholders, executive management, and regulatory-facing disclosures.
- Design, implement, and continuously improve ICT incident communication frameworks, including crisis playbooks and reporting protocols.
- Execute and maintain ICT business continuity, response, and recovery plans, including regular testing, simulations, and crisis exercises.
- Manage and coordinate encryption-related incidents, ensuring policy compliance, operational resilience, and regulatory alignment.
- Act as the central point of coordination for EU incident-related announcements, particularly those with supervisory or regulatory relevance.
- Ensure accurate, timely, and compliant information flow to all relevant stakeholders during incidents.
- Partner with global technology, security, and compliance teams to support the group-wide ICT Incident & Communications framework.
- Support additional ICT and operational resilience initiatives as directed by the EU CISO.
Candidate Profile
- 3–5+ years’ experience in financial services, fintech, or regulated digital assets environments.
- Strong working knowledge of banking regulation and ICT risk, with hands-on exposure to DORA highly preferred.
- Proven experience using incident management and IT service management (ITSM) tools.
- Solid foundational understanding of IT infrastructure, operations, and cybersecurity, ideally within a crypto or high-availability trading environment.
- Demonstrated experience delivering projects or control implementations within regulated settings.
- Highly effective communicator, able to operate independently and make decisions under pressure.
- Comfortable managing multiple incidents and priorities in a fast-paced, 24/7 operational environment.
- Fluent German and English are mandatory
- Must be Vienna-based and able to work on-site at EU headquarters.
