Our client, a leading global crypto exchange, is strengthening its European technology and resilience function. We are exclusively mandated to appoint an ICT Incident & Resilience Manager to lead incident response, regulatory communications, and operational continuity across EU-regulated entities.


This is a high-impact role sitting at the intersection of technology, regulation, and crisis management, with particular focus on DORA readiness, ICT resilience, and encryption-related incident handling.


Key Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end management of ICT incidents, ensuring rapid detection, escalation, resolution, and post-incident analysis to minimise business disruption.
  • Lead incident communications across EU operations, including internal stakeholders, executive management, and regulatory-facing disclosures.
  • Design, implement, and continuously improve ICT incident communication frameworks, including crisis playbooks and reporting protocols.
  • Execute and maintain ICT business continuity, response, and recovery plans, including regular testing, simulations, and crisis exercises.
  • Manage and coordinate encryption-related incidents, ensuring policy compliance, operational resilience, and regulatory alignment.
  • Act as the central point of coordination for EU incident-related announcements, particularly those with supervisory or regulatory relevance.
  • Ensure accurate, timely, and compliant information flow to all relevant stakeholders during incidents.
  • Partner with global technology, security, and compliance teams to support the group-wide ICT Incident & Communications framework.
  • Support additional ICT and operational resilience initiatives as directed by the EU CISO.


Candidate Profile

  • 3–5+ years’ experience in financial services, fintech, or regulated digital assets environments.
  • Strong working knowledge of banking regulation and ICT risk, with hands-on exposure to DORA highly preferred.
  • Proven experience using incident management and IT service management (ITSM) tools.
  • Solid foundational understanding of IT infrastructure, operations, and cybersecurity, ideally within a crypto or high-availability trading environment.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering projects or control implementations within regulated settings.
  • Highly effective communicator, able to operate independently and make decisions under pressure.
  • Comfortable managing multiple incidents and priorities in a fast-paced, 24/7 operational environment.
  • Fluent German and English are mandatory
  • Must be Vienna-based and able to work on-site at EU headquarters.
