As a Summer Trainee – Reporting & Analytics, you will:
An exciting position in the Reporting & Analytics of Metso IT. You will get a chance to work with professionals of the local Espoo/Tampere team, where your team will support your growth. You will have great opportunities to develop your expertise by learning how to develop global reporting & analytics solutions using the latest technologies. We work closely with internal and external stakeholders across Metso’s businesses, functions and IT teams, IT service partners and IT vendors. Our team culture is all about Getting it done – together. Many of our summer trainees continue their employment with us part-time, full-time, or with their thesis after the summer.

The expected monthly salary for our full-time trainee roles is between 2130-2970 euros per month. The exact monthly salary for each role is based on the candidate's number of completed academic credits and job location.
Our Summer Trainee positions are primarily targeted at students currently studying at, or recently graduated from, an educational institution in Finland, as well as Finnish students pursuing their studies abroad. Please note that we are unable to provide work permits or relocation services for these positions.

As a Summer Trainee – Reporting & Analytics, you will:
- Participate in implementing and maintaining reporting solutions for Metso's business users
- Explore AI and other new capabilities of our Enterprise Data Warehouse, Power BI, and SAP reporting platforms
- Present the results and cooperate with the application team and Metso’s business stakeholders in planning the implementation of the features
- Create demos and documentation on our reporting tools
- A higher degree study background in fields such as Business, IT, Industrial Engineering and Management, etc.
- A positive and proactive can-do mindset with a strong work ethic.
- Eagerness to learn, develop, and succeed in the role.
- A customer-focused and innovative mindset with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Basic knowledge in data analytics, databases, SQL, and Power BI is seen as an advantage
- Proficiency in MS Office tools
- Fluent written and spoken skills in English.
