INESC-ID promotes cooperation between academia and industry by addressing research on daily life issues, such as healthcare, space, mobility, human language technologies, agri-food, industry 4.0, and smart grids. This high level of knowledge transfer is achieved through both competitive research projects and direct contracted research.
The Executive Board of INESC-ID approved an international selection call for 1 (one) uncertain-term work contract in the scope of project Blockchain.PT – candidature C632734434_00467077 .
Termination of the financing, or completion of the tasks that are the subject of this call determine the expiration of the contract.
OBJECTIVES | FUNCTIONS
The main objective is to develop interoperability components needed in the PRR Blockchain.PT project. The researcher is expected to:
Research and development on interoperability of systems to interpret information following a defined ontology.
Implement an interoperability mechanism (IM) that realizes the technical and semantic layer.
Develop a detailed assessment of the requirements.
Contribute to the Blockchain interoperability architecture definition.
Implement the technical interoperability layer.
Implement the semantic interoperability layer.
Contribute to the implementation of interoperability pilots.
ELIGIBILITY CONDITIONS | QUALIFICATIONS
Any national, foreign and stateless candidate(s) holding a doctorate degree in Computer Science and Engineering may submit an application.
General call admission requirements
Include Those Specified In The Previous Point And That, From The Candidate's Curriculum Vitae, One May Validate The Compliance With Productivity Criteria Such As
Publications in international workshops, conferences or scientific journals.
Participation in national and international research projects.
Participation in program committees of international conferences and workshops.
Development of technology prototypes.
The applicants must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and an advanced level of proficiency in English and Portuguese.
