We are working with a leading tech company that is looking to hire a Principal AI Engineer. This is an exciting opportunity to take a lead in the companies AI strategy moving forward. They offer an excellent salary with some flexibility around this as well as a generous bonus and other benefits.

They work in a flexible hybrid with 1-2 days onsite (this may be flexible) and 3-4 days remotely, based in Dublin.

Primary Duties

• Design, develop, and maintain LLM-based application components across multiple projects, with a strong emphasis on Python programming
• Optimize AI and machine learning models for performance, cost, and reliability at scale.
• Set the technical direction for AI engineering, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and technology roadmaps.

Requirements

• 10 years + Experience Engineering/ML
• Experience in building and deploying Large Language Model (LLM) applications at scale
• Demonstrated expertise in designing and deploying RAG solutions, vector search, and embedding techniques.

On Offer

• The client will provide an excellent salary of €120,000 - €180,000
• Hybrid working, 1-2 days onsite (potentially flexible) and 3-4 days remotely
