Senior Project Manager – Change & Tech Delivery
12 Month Day Rate Contract
€600/day
South Dublin (2-3 days onsite per week)
We’re looking for an experienced Project Manager who can take ownership of complex change projects end to end – from early ideas and business case through to go‑live and post-implementation support.
You’ll be the person who keeps everything moving, joins the dots between business and tech, and makes sure projects land on time, on budget, and actually deliver the benefits promised.
What you’ll be doing
- Owning the full project lifecycle: scope, business case, planning, requirements, design, build, testing, go‑live and handover.
- Choosing the right delivery approach for each project (Waterfall, Agile/Scrum, Lean) and adapting it to the environment.
- Building detailed project plans, tracking milestones and keeping delivery on track.
- Managing risks, issues and dependencies – escalating when needed and keeping stakeholders aligned.
- Communicating clearly with leadership and teams on status, decisions and trade‑offs.
- Making sure the business is ready for change: training, comms, processes and support.
- Working closely with sponsors to shape the project, clarify objectives and lock in a solid business case.
- Ensuring quality standards are defined and met so the final solution does what it’s supposed to do.
- Managing suppliers and internal teams in a matrixed environment.
What we’re looking for
- 7+ years’ Project Management experience, including large, complex, multi-location projects.
- Strong background delivering in Agile environments (Scrum experience ideal; Scrum Master a plus).
- Solid track record delivering complex technology solutions, including in legacy IT environments.
- Comfortable managing system integration projects and working closely with product and design teams.
- Experience dealing with customers and vendors, and navigating stakeholder dynamics.
- Industry experience in life insurance or wider financial services (especially Irish market) is a plus, not a dealbreaker.
