Your role:

As a Software Engineer you’ll join a cross functional Agile development team to design and develop new features on the platform as well as looking at ways to improve scalability. There are many technical challenges to tackle, you’ll be working with Scala using functional programming techniques across the full development lifecycle, producing quality, well tested code.

Work From Home policy:

You can work from home most of the time but must be able to get to the office in Cagliari twice a week for team meetings.

About you:

• You have strong backend software development experience – you’ll be working with Scala, but you may have a Java or Kotlin background and can learn Scala on the job
• You have experience with REST APIs
• You have experience within a financial services type environment, with a good understanding of finance markets
• You’re a keen technologist who loves to learn and pick up new skills
• You have good analysis and problem solving skills
• You have good English language skills; Italian is also if benefit but not necessary
