Software Engineer in Insurance

• Create high quality code, thorough testing and review processes;
• Design high performance, reliable Java applications;
• Collaborate with teams to perform system analysis, define, design, and ship new features while taking full responsibility for projects;
• Own the operation of our team’s services, taking charge of troubleshooting and resolving incidents when they arise.
  
  
  

What is needed in this role:

• 3 years of experience in Java development;
• Experience with PL/SQL within Oracle relational databases
• Being proactive, analytical, detail-oriented, and responsible while demonstrating self-motivation with the ability to work independently and collaboratively;
• Accountability by meeting deadlines and achieving project goals while continuously seeking feedback and opportunities for personal growth;
• Fluency in English, written and spoken.
  
  
  

Considered as an advantage:

• Knowledge of Insurance domain business and/or IT system;
• Ability to lead the projects;
• Presentation and communication skills;
• Java, Oracle database certifications;
• Bachelor's or Masters’ degree in related field;
