Exacaster’s team is looking for an AI Engineer to join our Genesis team.
About the role:
We are seeking an AI Engineer passionate about applying generative AI solutions to solve business problems. This role involves designing, developing, and implementing business processes built on top of generative AI models. These processes may encompass both back-end and front-end development, with a primary focus on Large Language Models (LLMs).

Your daily tasks will include:
- Develop data processes and solutions based on Generative AI models.
- Develop and maintain knowledge bases using vector embeddings.
- Optimize existing Generative AI processes and models for improved performance, scalability, and efficiency.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to define Generative AI project requirements and objectives, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Take an active role in preparing documentation (specs, guides, presentations) that communicates AI concepts to different stakeholders.
- Contribute to the establishment of best practices and standards for Generative AI-based process development within and outside the organisation.
- Research to stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in Generative AI and machine learning in general.
- Background in Data Science or AI Engineering, with knowledge of data analysis, statistical modeling, and machine learning fundamentals.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a creative approach to building AI solutions.
- Familiarity with generative AI and Large Language Models (GPT, Claude Sonnet, or similar). Hands-on experience is a plus.
- Proficiency in Python, with exposure to GenAI/ML libraries (e.g., LangChain, Streamlit). Willingness to learn new tools is valued.
- Good understanding of data structures, algorithms, and RESTful APIs.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and exposure to vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, Azure AI Search) is a plus.
- Good communication skills and a proactive mindset, with the ability to work on multiple projects in a dynamic environment.
- Demonstrated interest in Research and Development (R&D): A passion for exploring cutting-edge technologies and contributing to innovative projects.
- Previous experience in a consulting environment: Ability to interact with clients, understand their needs, and deliver customized AI solutions.
- Proficiency with Git for version control: Experience in collaborative development using Git, GitHub, or similar platforms.
- Innovative mindset: Creative thinker with the ability to develop and implement novel AI solutions.
- Monthly salary for this position from 3200 Eur gross to 5000 Eur gross for a full time role.
