Exacaster’s team is looking for a Senior AI Engineer to join our Genesis team!

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Senior AI Engineer to lead the design, development, and implementation of cutting-edge generative AI solutions that drive significant business impact. This role involves architecting and building robust, scalable AI-powered systems, primarily leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs), and mentoring junior team members.

Your daily tasks will include:
- Develop and deploy complex data processes and solutions based on Generative AI models, taking ownership of the full development lifecycle.
- Design, develop, and maintain advanced knowledge bases using vector embeddings, optimising for performance and scalability.
- Drive the optimization of existing Generative AI processes and models, focusing on performance, scalability, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
- Contribute to clear documentation (technical specs, guides, presentations) that helps explain AI concepts to diverse stakeholders.
- Contribute to developing best practices for Generative AI processes within the team.
- Keep up with the latest in Generative AI, explore new technologies, and contribute to prototyping and proposing new initiatives.
- Experience as a Data Scientist or AI Engineer, with hands-on involvement in developing and implementing AI/ML solutions in production.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in developing and implementing processes based on generative AI models, with proven expertise in Large Language Models (LLMs) such as GPT, Claude Sonnet, and similar. Demonstrated experience deploying these models in production environments is essential.
- Proficiency in Python and familiarity with GenAI frameworks (e.g., LangChain, Streamlit). Experience is a plus, but a strong willingness to learn is equally valued.
- Understanding of software engineering principles and best practices, including data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
- Understanding of cloud-based platforms and services (AWS, Azure, and/or GCP), with experience deploying and managing AI/ML models in the cloud.
- Experience working with vector databases and vector search capabilities (Pinecone, Azure AI Search, Amazon OpenSearch, vector search extensions in relational databases, etc.), including performance tuning and optimisation.
- Strong business acumen, with the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and design solutions (develop innovative AI solutions) that deliver measurable value.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to both technical and executive audiences.
- A proactive mindset, with the ability to work independently, lead initiatives, and collaborate effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment on several concurrent projects.
- Demonstrated interest in Research and Development (R&D): A passion for exploring cutting-edge technologies and contributing to innovative projects.
- Experience with specific industry applications of GenAI (e.g., telco, finance, e-commerce).
- Experience leading and/or managing technical teams.
- Experience with developing and deploying AI-powered applications at scale.
- Monthly salary for this position is from 5000 Eur gross to 6200 Eur gross for a full time role.
