As a Frontend Developer, you will work on three important parts of the ONS platform: payment details, the onboarding process for new customers, and our internal admin environment. This means you will be involved in multiple areas of the application at the same time and will have plenty of variety in your work.
You will work in a Scrum team, where you and your colleagues will handle front-end tickets. Most requests come from internal stakeholders, so you will have a direct influence on how our organisation works and grows. You will not only be building, but also actively contributing ideas about priorities, technical choices and the progress of projects.
What makes this role as a Frontend Developer extra interesting? You will be part of a mature and professional frontend branch within the organisation. We work extensively with reusable frontend components within a design framework, which means your work goes beyond your own application. You will contribute to the further development of our component library and to a consistent user experience across all parts of our platform.
We work with Vue and Typescript, and we also use Phoenix Liveview. You will work on existing and new applications. You will be given a lot of freedom and ownership, including the space to make technical decisions yourself and help determine the direction of the front-end architecture.
Responsibilities
Your responsibilities
- Technical leadership: you will take charge of front-end work in the team as a working foreman. The rest of the team can come to you with questions about Vue, TypeScript and CSS.
- UX: you will provide feedback to the UX team on their designs from a technical point of view.
- Collaboration: working in a multidisciplinary team with a Product Owner, UX designer and developers.
- Design: contribute ideas about technical architecture and system integrations.
- Maintenance: build and manage our existing web apps.
As a Frontend Developer, you will work within Nedap's BAT (Business Automation Tooling) team in Healthcare. Our goal: to support colleagues with smart tools and automation so that they have more time to make an impact. We are currently working primarily on solutions within Healthcare, but we also contribute ideas to other business units within Nedap.
The team is energetic, ambitious and critical. We challenge each other to make the best choices for now and for the future. We are looking for someone who dares to take responsibility, embraces new technologies and wants to learn and innovate with us.
Our offer
As a Frontend Developer at Nedap, you make a valuable contribution to our mission: helping people become happier and more successful in their professional lives. The salary range for this role is between € 4.000 and € 5.500 gross per month based on full-time employment (38 hours) and depends on relevant knowledge and experience. In addition to your salary, you’ll receive a thirteenth month’s pay, a solid pension plan, and profit sharing with the opportunity to become a Nedap shareholder. At Nedap, everything revolves around trust and autonomy. That’s why, along with your colleagues, you decide on your own working hours and vacation days to maintain a healthy work-life balance.
We also place great importance on both personal and professional growth. You’ll receive a thorough introduction and are encouraged to keep developing yourself throughout your career.
