Overview

• The Cloud Identity Service Engineer is responsible for managing and administering cloud identity services, including Identity Authentication Service (IAS). This role involves configuring, monitoring, and maintaining identity services to ensure secure and efficient access management across the organization.

Responsibilities

• At least 10+ years of experience in Identity and access management.
• Experience with cloud-based identity services and provisioning systems.

Identity Provisioning and Management:

• Familiarize with supported provisioning systems and connectors by Identity Provisioning
• Onboarding, changing, and offboarding applications, including exchanging metadata, setting up applications, and identifying necessary attributes for authentication.

Administration:

• Configure and administer SAP Cloud Identity Services
• Handle admin tasks such as removing MFA devices, setting up roles, and changing email templates, styles, and logos.

Security and Compliance:

• Use security features of SAP Cloud Identity Services to support organizational security policies.
• Monitor and audit changes in applications and suspicious behavior on accounts.

Monitoring and Reporting:

• Explore monitoring and reporting to get information about audit logs, job logs, usage statistics, and more.
• Ensure compliance with security rules and regulations.

Support and Troubleshooting:

• Provide support for issues related to SAP Cloud Identity Services.
• Assist in setting up services and resolving technical issues.

Integration and Future Planning:

• Work on integrating identity services with other systems for seamless authentication.
• Plan for future enhancements and upgrades to the identity services infrastructure.

Technical Skills

• Experience with SAP Cloud Identity Services and Identity Authentication Service (IAS).
• Knowledge of security protocols and standards such as SAML2.
• Familiarity with monitoring and reporting tools.
