Position: Senior Software Architect

Location: Lisbon | Hybrid

Key Responsibilities

• Explore emerging technologies and propose innovative solutions that add value to the business.
• Lead technical decisions in projects involving cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP), promoting best practices and resource optimization.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, participating in all phases of the software lifecycle, from conception to post-production monitoring.
• Define development standards and guide teams on best practices across multiple languages and frameworks, both frontend (React, Angular, Vue) and backend (Node.js, Java, Python).
• Integrate and orchestrate containerization platforms such as Docker and Kubernetes to guarantee efficient and reliable deployment of solutions.
• Design and evolve scalable architectures for enterprise applications, ensuring performance, security, and maintainability.
• Ensure security best practices are followed across all platform components.

About You

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
• Proven experience in cloud environments, preferably AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Hands-on expertise with modern frontend frameworks (React, Angular, Vue).
• Practical mastery of backend languages such as Node.js, Java, and Python.
• Strong experience with containerization platforms, especially Docker and Kubernetes.
• Solid knowledge of microservices architecture, CI/CD, and process automation.
• Ability to assess technical and business trade-offs, applying principles of scalable and sustainable design.
• Strong technical curiosity and enthusiasm for exploring new tools and industry trends.
• Proactive attitude towards continuous learning and adaptation to dynamic environments.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with both technical and non-technical teams.
• Autonomy in decision-making and initiative to propose and experiment with innovative solutions.
• Critical thinking and the ability to challenge the status quo based on sound reasoning.
• Appreciation for collaborative environments, respect for diverse ideas, and openness to knowledge sharing.
• Mandatory: English C1+
• Nice to have: French B2+
