Job Description
- Lead and deliver a broad range of cybersecurity projects for clients across multiple sectors.
- Conduct thorough audits, vulnerability assessments, and technical evaluations.
- Ensure client security practices align with relevant industry standards, regulations, and frameworks.
- Design, implement, and optimise security controls and solutions.
- Contribute to risk management processes, identifying and mitigating potential threats.
- Develop, test, and refine incident response plans, providing support during incidents.
- Deploy, configure, and fine-tune monitoring solutions, and analyse alerts and events.
- Produce clear, actionable reports summarising findings and recommendations.
- Develop and deliver engaging cybersecurity awareness programmes to clients.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Cybersecurity Engineer or in a similar security-focused role.
- Hands-on expertise in:
- Conducting cybersecurity audits, assessments, and vulnerability analyses.
- Designing, implementing, and optimising security solutions.
- Securing Linux and Windows operating systems.
- Protecting on-premises and cloud environments, including networks, services, and controls.
- Securing virtualisation platforms.
- Identity and access management (IAM) principles and solutions.
- Risk management processes.
- Incident response lifecycle.
- Familiarity with security standards and frameworks, including ISO 27001/27701, NIST, CIS, and SOC 2.
- Strong skills in producing clear, concise, and actionable reports.
- Awareness of current cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies.
- Experience in creating and presenting cybersecurity awareness training.
- Ability to manage multiple client priorities simultaneously.
- Excellent organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- High ethical standards and professional integrity.
- Effective communication and team collaboration skills.
- Fluency in Portuguese and strong command of English.
