SRAM Portugal is looking to strengthen its team by hiring a Project Manager to support operational projects and value stream implementations in an industrial environment. This role will play an active part in the planning, coordination, and execution of cross-functional projects for a product or a product family (i.e., a value stream), working closely with Value Stream Leaders, functional teams, and global partners from the project phase through production launch and stabilization.


Responsibilities:

  • Manage the implementation of industrial and manufacturing process projects, ensuring activities are executed according to the defined plan;
  • Coordinate project activities across internal teams and stakeholders, ensuring alignment on objectives, timelines, and requirements;
  • Track project progress, identify deviations, and support the definition and implementation of corrective actions;
  • Contribute to supplier qualification, equipment implementation, and preparation for production ramp-up;
  • Support the definition and improvement of material and information flows across the production process;
  • Collaborate with Production, Quality, Engineering, Logistics, and Supply Chain to ensure effective project execution;
  • Monitor project KPIs and prepare status reports;
  • Support Lean and continuous improvement initiatives, contributing to process optimization and waste reduction;
  • Ensure compliance with applicable quality, environmental, and safety policies within project activities.


Requirements:

  • Minimum B.Sc. degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or similar;
  • Any additional Project Management Certifications will be considered an advantage;
  • Experience working with multiple project methodologies (desirable);
  • Portuguese and English proficiency (written and spoken);
  • Understanding of the product and its components (desirable);
  • Creative and strategic thinker with the ability to identify opportunities in a fast-changing market;
  • Strong project management skills, including planning, ownership, and cross-functional coordination;
  • Outstanding communication, interpersonal and leadership skills;
  • Commitment to continuous learning and knowledge sharing;
  • Hands-on attitude and problem-solving mindset;
  • Industry work experience (desirable).
