Connectivity & Network Engineer – L2 | LTE | VoLTE | 5G | Remote
We are currently looking for a Connectivity & Network Engineer (L2) to support a global telecommunications project, working in a fully remote (100%) model. This role is ideal for professionals with strong experience in LTE, VoLTE, and 5G network optimization, KPI analysis, and RAN parameter tuning.
Responsabilities
- Perform SSV and cluster-level optimization for LTE, VoLTE, and 5G using OSS and drive test tools.
- Analyze coverage, quality, and mobility KPIs to ensure alignment with design and performance targets.
- Monitor and optimize key KPIs such as accessibility, retainability, and throughput.
- Execute parameter tuning, propose feature activation, and support performance enhancement initiatives.
- Conduct RAN parameter audits across LTE and 5G layers, ensuring compliance with design guidelines and vendor standards.
- Support the process to obtain final acceptance certificates from customers or regulatory entities.
- Produce detailed technical reports and present optimization results to stakeholders.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Strong expertise in LTE, VoLTE, and 5G NR technologies and architecture.
- Hands-on experience with OSS tools, drive test tools, and post-processing tools.
- Solid understanding of RAN KPIs and their impact on end-user experience.
- Proven ability to identify root causes of network performance issues and implement optimization strategies.
- Experience with parameter tuning, feature activation, and parameter audits.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a proactive, problem-solving approach.
Education
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
