The Umanitek Guardian Agent protects people from deepfakes and digital impersonation by combining Decentralized Knowledge Graphs (DKG) with perceptual intelligence. As a Frontend Developer you’ll be responsible for building and evolving the user-facing experience of the Umanitek Guardian ecosystem. This includes the Guardian Agent UI, the continuous guarding browser extension, dashboards for interacting with the Guardian network, and Umanitek’s public-facing website and landing pages.


You’ll work closely with backend, AI, and protocol engineers, as well as designers and founders, to translate complex decentralized and AI-driven functionality into clear, intuitive, and trustworthy user experiences. This is a hands-on role where attention to detail, performance, and modern design practices really matter.


Responsibilities

  •  Build and maintain the Guardian Agent frontend (dashboards, controls, visualizations, alerts)
  •  Develop and maintain the continuous guarding browser extension (UX, state management, integrations)
  •  Implement and iterate on Umanitek’s website and landing pages
  •  Translate Figma designs into high-quality, pixel-perfect, production-ready code
  •  Collaborate with backend and AI teams to integrate APIs, agents, and DKG-based services
  •  Ensure excellent UX, accessibility, and performance across devices and browsers
  •  Contribute to frontend architecture, component libraries, and design systems
  •  Participate in product discussions and help shape how users interact with AI safety tools
  •  Maintain alignment between frontend features and the broader Guardian roadmap


Technical experience that is most relevant to us:

  •  3+ years of professional frontend development experience
  •  Strong experience with React and the modern React ecosystem (Next.js / React Native)
  •  Solid understanding of TypeScript, component-driven architecture, and state management
  •  Experience building modern, responsive UIs and working closely with designers
  •  Proven ability to implement designs directly from Figma
  •  Familiarity with APIs, authentication flows, and real-time or event-driven interfaces
  •  Good communication skills and comfort working in a fast-moving, interdisciplinary team


Technical experience that is nice to have:

  •   Experience with Expo framework
  • Experience with LLM-powered or AI-driven applications
  •  Familiarity with Web3 / blockchain concepts (wallets, signatures, decentralized apps)
  •  Experience with building browser extensions (Chrome, Firefox)
  •  Exposure to data visualization, graph-based UIs, or complex dashboards
  •  Designs which include performant and lively animations
  •  Familiarity with knowledge graphs and/or decentralized knowledge graph networks
