Job Description

At AstroPay, we are building the go-to financial platform for digital nomads and global users. Our vision is to create a seamless, borderless financial experience, allowing users to save, spend, and send money effortlessly across multiple currencies and regions.

The Product Design team plays a pivotal role in shaping this vision. We are looking for a Senior Product Designer who thrives on solving complex problems, collaborating closely with engineers, marketing, operations and designing holistic, aesthetic and high-quality experiences.

Job Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in Product Design & UX – Strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end product design, user flows, and multi-platform experiences.
  • Strong craft & visual design – Create polished, brand-aligned, visually compelling interfaces.
  • Expertise in payment experiences – Deep understanding of financial UX, optimising payment flows, conversion funnels, and transaction interfaces.
  • Visionary mindset – Translate product vision into impactful design ideas.
  • Push the limits of industry standards – Bring fresh, innovative perspectives to financial UX.
  • Technical fluency – Experience working with backend engineers, APIs, and data-driven interfaces to ensure design feasibility and performance.
  • Design system collaboration & scalability – Contribute to scalable, coherent components and libraries.
  • Data-driven mindset – Make decisions based on insights, not assumptions.
  • Strong communication & collaboration skills – Ability to work across Product, Engineering, and Growth teams to align design with business objectives.
  • Perfect English – Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
  • Global context sensibility – Understands global/local rails and multi-currency user needs.

Job Responsibilities

  • End-to-end execution – Execute design from discovery to delivery with autonomy and quality.
  • Push industry standards – Explore innovative ways to elevate AstroPay’s financial UX over competitors.
  • Close collaboration with product and engineering – Ensure seamless translation of designs into scalable product experiences.
  • Be data-driven & experimentation-focused – Use research and testing to validate and refine designs.
  • Build synergy within the Design Team – Co-create a unified and consistent AstroPay experience.
  • Design for systems & scale – Create scalable design solutions in collaboration with the Design System Manager.
  • Help shape Go‑to‑Market Success – Partner closely with Marketing to craft effective go‑to‑market strategies and ensure each launch is positioned for success.
  • Vision & north-star contribution – Translate high-level product vision into clear design directions.
