Job Description:
- Enhances the organization’s human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating employee relations and human resources policies, programs, and practices
- Establishes a recruiting, testing, and interviewing program; counsels managers on candidate selection; conducts and analyzes exit interviews; and recommends changes
- Advise on appropriate remuneration and benefits through analysis of data and trends and in coordination with corporate Comp and Bens
- Negotiate and implement private health insurance, death in service benefit, income protection, pensions and other staff benefits
- Manage and ensure data integrity of the HR database and associated processes including goal setting and performance evaluation Retains historical human resource records by designing a filing and retrieval system and keeping past and current records
- Interpret legislation and draft compliant employment contracts, policies and agreements.
- Manage compensation process with leaders for the region
- Establishes constructive relationship with the local Work council
- Send Finance/payroll teams payroll relevant data (new starters, leavers, pay changes, promotions etc.) for payment
- Work with L&D to hold Talent Reviews and ensure that there is appropriate succession planning in place for critical jobs
- Work with L&D to develop and coordinate the delivery of training programs
- Coach and support managers to operate a fair but firm process in respect of underperforming staff, and deal with people issues effectively
- Work with Managers to identify and introduce organisational change
- Manage GDPR requirements
Qualifications and Skills:
- BS Degree (Business, HR or related field) or similar work experience required
- 5+ years of experience in progressively responsible human resource roles
- 3+ years of experience in Labor Relations and Employee Relations in Spain (mandatory), Italy, Greece & Croatia (preferably)
- Hiring and human resources management skills
- Experience in benefits administration, performance management, communication processes, compensation and wage structure, supporting diversity, classifying employees
- Very good knowledge of employment law
- Advanced English and Spanish (speaking and writing)
- Business and financial acumen
- Project Management and leadership skills
- Strong IT skills and good experience with HRM databases e.g. SuccessFactors
- Strong communication skills and confidence with executive level presentations
