As an Associate Software Engineer (Full Stack), you will work collaboratively within a Scrum environment to deliver customer-facing user experiences that empower self-service analytics, monitoring, and configuration for critical B2B commerce operations. With an emphasis on reliability, quality, security, and customer outcomes, the endpoint solutions you deliver will directly contribute to customer success and help drive TradeCentric’s next phase of growth.

🏢 Work Location: Bucharest, Romania (Hybrid schedule)

📅 Schedule: Monday to Friday (In-office Tues.–Thurs., remote Mon./Fri.)

🕒 Hours: 9am to 6pm

What You’ll Do:

• Research, design, develop, test, and deploy software solutions for your area
• Champion quality and meet quality requirements for all work, including unit test development, adherence to quality gates, and contribution to test plans
• Support the UX design process and understand UX requirements
• Assess and diagnose production issues, drive recommendation and resolution
• Collaborate with peers and stakeholders in all aspects of Scrum and other team ceremonies
• Drive technical research and evaluation of new tools, frameworks, and methodologies
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and team best practices

Who You Are:

• Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is strongly preferred
• 2-4 years of software engineering experience
• Adept at working with Git (GitHub Actions a plus), containers (Docker), and Apache/Linux
• Creative problem-solver
• A great teammate. Confident and passionate, yet humble and empathetic
• A champion and practitioner of Scrum’s principle qualities
• Full-stack development with focus on scalable, secure applications
• Backend: PHP 8+, Laravel, API development, unit testing
• Databases: MySQL/MariaDB (additionally Elasticsearch, Logstash & MongoDB preferred)
• Frontend: Vue.js 3+, responsive UI development
• Preferred: TypeScript, Zend/Laminas frameworks
• Experience with eCommerce, eProcurement, or ERP systems is a plus
