We are looking for a Software Engineer with hands-on experience in Java development and Spring Boot based services, driven by a passion for innovation and research. As part of the Architecture team, the new colleague will contribute to the design and development of both client-facing services, and tools/frameworks that enable functional teams to achieve their goals and meet their requirements. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex problems, exploring new technologies, and is eager to contribute to impactful projects.

Responsibilities & Deliverables

As a Software Engineer, you will:

  • Participate in design meetings, contributing ideas and technical insights
  • Implement new features and enhancements
  • Fix defects, ensuring application stability and performance
  • Provide technical support to the QA team during testing phases, helping troubleshoot and resolve issues.
  • Conduct research and experimentation with emerging technologies, evaluating their potential for integration into our solutions
  • Continuously learn and adopt new technologies, frameworks, and best practices.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of software development experience with a strong focus on Java and object-oriented programming.
  • Spring Boot knowledge is a plus
  • SQL knowledge is a plus
  • Docker/Kubernetes knowledge is a plus
  • Maven and Git are nice to have
  • Team-oriented, proactive, and eager to learn in a diverse, dynamic and inclusive environment.
  • Ability to work independently or within a team environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English.
