**Internship Role:

As a Backend Development Intern, you will:

- Contribute to the development of a robust infrastructure

- Quickly adapt to our agile development process, delivering your first code within days of joining.

- Collaborate with a diverse team, embracing and providing constructive feedback.

- Engage in projects that turn major opportunities into tangible outcomes, helping Carla solidify its position in the travel industry.

**Who Are We Looking For?

We are seeking an intern with:

- Eager to apply and expand their skills in a real-world setting.

- Basic knowledge of distributed systems and an interest in how architectural decisions affect performance and maintainability.

- An enthusiasm for working in cross-functional teams, collaborating effectively with Product Managers, Mobile Engineers, and other specialists.

- A commitment to quality, with an inclination towards writing testable, efficient code.

- Familiarity (yet not required) with cloud platforms (AWS is a plus) and programming languages such as Java and Kotlin.
