Senior Data Scientist | Global FinTech | Dubai 🇦🇪

We’re working with a high-growth global FinTech to hire a Senior Data Scientist / Machine Learning Scientist for their Dubai office.

This is a business operating at significant global scale, but with a strong startup / scale-up mindset. They move fast, build for production, and care deeply about applied machine learning — not dashboards. Because of this, we’re strongly prioritising candidates with startup experience within FinTech environments.

The Opportunity

This role is heavily focused on applied machine learning, owning models end-to-end and seeing them deployed into live systems. You’ll work on problems such as:

• Designing, training and deploying ML models into production
• Fraud, risk, credit, pricing or real-time decisioning systems
• Improving model performance, monitoring drift, and retraining strategies
• Working with engineers to build scalable ML pipelines
• Translating business problems into robust ML solutions

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years experience in Data Science / Machine Learning roles
• Startup or scale-up experience within FinTech (strong preference)
• Strong experience with Python and ML frameworks (e.g. scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, XGBoost)
• Experience deploying models into production environments
• Solid understanding of ML fundamentals, statistics, and optimisation
• Comfortable working in fast-paced, ambiguous environments
• Strong collaboration skills with Engineering and Product teams

Nice to Have

• Experience with real-time or high-throughput ML systems
• Exposure to MLOps, model monitoring, CI/CD for ML
• Cloud experience (AWS, GCP or Azure)
• Previous experience mentoring junior ML engineers or data scientists
