Required Skills & Qualifications

·       Strong proficiency in software engineering, especially:

o  C# / .NET and JavaScript (web/API development understanding is essential)

·       Demonstrated knowledge of secure coding principles and common application vulnerabilities.

·       Strong familiarity with security frameworks/standards, including:

o  OWASP (Top 10, API Security), and ISO 27001 (concepts and control expectations)

·       Solid understanding of web application architecture and deployment models (on-prem and cloud).

·       Experience with common security tools and technologies, including vulnerability scanning and secure SDLC tooling.

·       Knowledge of infrastructure, networking, and cloud fundamentals relevant to AppSec.

·       Working knowledge of operating systems: Windows and Linux

·       Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills, especially in complex engineering environments.

·       Ability to collaborate effectively with developers and stakeholders, translating security requirements into practical engineering outcomes.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have

·       Experience with DevSecOps, pipeline security, and policy-as-code (e.g., OPA, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI).

·       Familiarity with OWASP ASVS, NIST SSDF, and/or mapping security controls to ISO 27001 requirements.

·       Security certifications are a plus.
