We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Technology Sourcing Manager to lead strategic sourcing initiatives for technology goods and services. The role requires deep expertise in procurement sourcing, complex contract negotiations, and cross-functional stakeholder management. The successful candidate will drive cost savings, ensure compliance with procurement policies, and manage high-value contracts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead sourcing and negotiation for complex technology deals, typically exceeding $5M total contract value.
- Author, review, and edit contracts to ensure alignment with organizational and legal requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, including Finance, Legal, and IT, to support procurement strategies.
- Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and technology procurement opportunities.
- Utilize Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint (advanced) to analyze procurement data, develop reports, and present findings to leadership.
- Ensure compliance with organizational procurement policies, regulations, and financial targets.
Must-Have Qualifications & Experience:
- 10–15 years of procurement sourcing experience, including at least 5 years in technology sourcing (not general purchasing).
- Proven experience leading complex contract negotiations independently, with high-value contracts ($5M+).
- Strong experience in contract authoring and editing.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and influence cross-functional stakeholders.
- Post-secondary education in Finance or related field; Procurement designation preferred.
- Strong analytical skills, market awareness, and financial acumen.
Nice-to-Have:
- Proven experience sourcing and negotiating deals with AI or emerging technology providers.
- Knowledge of procurement law and regulations.
- Track record of achieving financial targets (individual: $5M savings, team: $25M savings).
- Exceptional negotiation, contract management, and analytical skills.
Tools & Technology:
- Microsoft Excel (advanced): for financial analysis, cost modeling, and reporting.
- Microsoft PowerPoint (advanced): for presentations and executive briefings.
- Procurement or contract management software experience is a plus.
