Responsibilities

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Security Analyst to join our cybersecurity team. This entry-level role is critical in helping protect our organization’s information systems and data from potential threats. You will assist in monitoring security alerts, analyzing incidents, and implementing security measures under the guidance of senior analysts. Since its founding in 1984, Digitech has refined its software platform to create a cloud-based billing and business intelligence solution that monitors and automates the entire EMS revenue lifecycle. Digitech leverages its proprietary technology to offer fully outsourced services that maximize collections, protect compliance, and deliver results for clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and Detect Threats:
    • Continuously monitor network traffic and security systems for suspicious activities.
    • Review alerts from SIEM tools and escalate incidents as needed.
  • Incident Response:
    • Assist in initial triage and investigation of security incidents.
    • Document findings and support senior analysts during remediation efforts.
  • Vulnerability Management:
    • Conduct vulnerability scans and basic risk assessments.
    • Help implement security controls and countermeasures.
  • Security Tools Administration:
    • Configure and update security tools such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection systems.
    • Maintain security documentation and standard operating procedures.
  • Compliance and Awareness:
    • Support compliance audits and risk assessments.
    • Participate in security awareness training initiatives for staff.
Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 0-2 years of experience in IT or security operations.Experience with network diagnostic, monitoring and analysis tools (through coursework or internships)
  • Basic understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, OSI model) and operating systems (Windows/Linux).
  • Familiarity with common security tools (SIEM, antivirus, intrusion detection systems).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
