The Opportunity
"We are seeking interns for Automation and Development in our Cyber Security Team. This role will involve working on application and infrastructure automation using Python and Shell scripting within cloud environments. Interns will gain hands-on experience with APIs, cloud architecture, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, containerization, orchestration platforms, and enterprise security tools, while building strong foundations in Development, Automation and DevSecOps practices. This role offers hands-on exposure to real-world cyber security engineering, development, automation frameworks, and modern DevSecOps practices." - Hiring Manager
What You'll Contribute
- Develop and enhance automation scripts in Python and Shell
- Assist in building security automation pipelines and workflows
- Support integration of security tools into CI/CD pipelines
- Work with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) on security automation and monitoring
- Help maintain and improve automation for vulnerability management, threat detection, and compliance tasks
- Collaborate with development and security teams on secure development practices
- Document scripts, processes, and automation frameworks
- Good Understanding of Data Structure and Algorithm
- Good Coding Skill in C++ or JAVA
- Scripting in Python and Shell
- Familiarity with Linux environments
- Basic knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, etc.
- Exposure to Cloud Platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) is a plus
- Knowledge of System Networking and Security Standard
- API Knowledge
