The Role

These applications power onsite operations such as guest check-in, badge printing, and real-time attendee engagement — making this role critical to delivering flawless event experiences.
This role involves working across the full software development lifecycle, implementing UI features using UWP/WinUI, integrating with backend APIs, improving app performance, and ensuring reliability for high-traffic events. You will collaborate closely with engineers, QA, product, and onsite delivery teams to build stable, user-friendly applications that support our customers globally.
You must be motivated and passionate about great service. Within a small team, you understand that working closely with others and pitching in when necessary helps our team be stronger and reach our goals.
This is a 6-month fixed-term contract role, with the option to extend up to 12 months.

Your Duties
- Design, build, and maintain Windows applications using UWP/WinUI and the .NET ecosystem.

- Proficiency with XAML and MVVM architectural patterns
- Experience integrating with REST APIs
- Strong debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills

Desirable:
- Exposure to WinUI 3, MAUI, or migration from UWP
- Familiarity with offline-first app design
- Experience with AWS cloud services

- Experience with unit testing frameworks for .NET
- Experience with Laravel/PHP
- Webapp knowledge, specifically React or React Native
