Role Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Scrum Master to join our fast-paced product development team. This role is central to fostering an environment where high-performing teams can deliver exceptional value efficiently. You will champion the Agile mindset, coach the team in Scrum practices, and help remove impediments, ensuring continuous delivery and improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitation: Organize and facilitate all Scrum ceremonies, including Daily Scrums, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives, ensuring they are productive and time-boxed.

• Coaching & Mentoring: Coach the Development Team and Product Owner on Scrum principles, Agile values, and best practices, focusing on self-organization and cross-functionality.

• Impediment Removal: Actively identify, track, and remove impediments or blockers that prevent the team from achieving its Sprint goals.

• Stakeholder Communication: Help the Product Owner manage stakeholder expectations, ensuring transparent and timely communication of progress and roadmaps.

• Process Improvement: Drive continuous improvement within the team and across the organization by utilizing metrics and facilitating meaningful Retrospectives.

• Certification: Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM I), or equivalent certification is required.

• Deep Scrum Knowledge: Expert understanding of Scrum principles, practices, and theory, including foundational knowledge of other Agile methodologies (Kanban, XP).

• Facilitation Skills: Proven ability to run engaging and effective meetings and workshops.

• Conflict Resolution: Excellent skills in conflict resolution, negotiation, and handling difficult situations with tact and professionalism.

• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of explaining complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Desirable Qualifications

• Advanced Scrum Certification (e.g., PSM II, A-CSM).
• Experience scaling Agile (e.g., SAFe, LeSS, DaD).
• Experience with a range of project management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, Trello).
