Role Overview

As a JavaScript Developer at CodingIT, you will play a key role in the design, architecture, and development of robust web applications. You will work across backend and frontend layers, contributing to architectural decisions, building scalable solutions, and collaborating closely with product and design teams.

This role is suited for an experienced, autonomous developer who can take ownership of features or systems end-to-end and, when needed, guide other developers from a technical standpoint.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend APIs and services using Node.js and TypeScript.
• Design and implement modern, responsive UIs with React.js, ensuring cross-browser compatibility and an optimal user experience.
• Integrate and manage databases, ensuring efficient and secure data handling.
• Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and reliability using server-side best practices.
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and other developers to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable code and perform code reviews to uphold coding standards.

Qualifications

✅ Must-Have

• Strong professional experience developing applications with JavaScript / TypeScript.
• Experience building and maintaining backend services with Node.js.
• Solid understanding of application architecture, API design, and system scalability.
• Experience developing frontend applications with React.js.
• Ability to work autonomously and take ownership of technical solutions.
• Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with cloud-based architectures and managed services.
• Experience collaborating in team-based environments and participating in technical decision-making.
• Proficiency with Git and collaborative development workflows.

⭐ Nice-to-Have

• Experience working on mobile projects, including developing backend services or shared JavaScript logic used by mobile applications.
• Experience building backend services using NestJS.
• Experience developing frontend applications with Next.js.
• Familiarity with modern UI frameworks or component libraries such as ShadCN. 
• Experience integrating Generative AI APIs (e.g., OpenAI or similar public LLM services).
• Familiarity with prompt engineering, AI-driven workflows, or AI-assisted features in applications.
• Experience deploying or integrating on-premise or self-hosted LLM solutions.
• Knowledge of AI-related tooling such as vector databases, embeddings, or semantic search.
• Exposure to DevOps practices, infrastructure automation, or observability tools.
