C# Software Engineer – Digital Innovation & AI Solutions in Brussels

Your Role

As a C# Software Engineer, you will play a key role in designing and building innovative software solutions that drive digital transformation. You will work on a broad range of innovation projects, frequently involving AI, automation and emerging technologies.

You collaborate closely with product owners, architects and subject-matter experts to translate ideas into robust, scalable applications. This role offers a high degree of autonomy, technical influence and exposure to cutting-edge technologies.

Key Responsibilities

Full-Lifecycle Software Development

• Design, develop and maintain high-quality C#/.NET applications
• Build new features, enhance existing components and ensure scalability, performance and reliability
• Contribute to solutions that can evolve from prototype to production-ready systems

AI & Intelligent Solution Development

• Develop and experiment with AI-driven solutions such as LLM-based applications, AI agents, computer vision and intelligent automation
• Build data-driven prototypes and applications using C#, Python and related technologies
• Integrate AI capabilities into existing systems and workflows across cloud and on-prem environments

Architecture & Technical Excellence

• Participate in architectural discussions and technical design decisions
• Evaluate tools, frameworks and platforms to ensure future-proof solutions
• Apply modern software architecture principles, clean code practices and design patterns

Collaboration & Co-Creation

• Work closely with cross-functional teams including business stakeholders, analysts, data specialists and fellow engineers
• Take part in workshops, ideation sessions and technical reviews to ensure alignment and shared understanding

Your Skills & Experience

• Strong experience with C# and .NET development
• Solid knowledge of REST APIs, microservices and integration patterns
• Experience with cloud platforms and containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git and DevOps workflows
• Understanding of modern software architecture and clean coding standards

Nice to Have

• Experience with AI technologies such as LLMs, embeddings or vector databases
• Front-end experience with Blazor or similar frameworks
