Mission Context

You will join the Server team, collaborating with engineers to develop, implement, and manage cloud solutions. The team is responsible for building and maintaining automated infrastructure for Azure Cloud and future Kubernetes platforms, using Terraform and other modern DevOps practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, debug, and troubleshoot containerized infrastructure
• Build CI/CD pipeline configurations for provisioning and deployment
• Ensure solutions are well-engineered, maintainable, and delivered on schedule
• Deploy new infrastructure in Azure Cloud, working with business and engineering teams
• Monitor system availability, latency, and health
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, test, and production environments
• Communicate status and risks to product and management teams
• Automate and streamline operations and processes
• Write and validate processes and documentation
• Present and discuss proposed solutions with technical audiences
  
  

Requirements

Technical Skills:

• Significant experience with Hashicorp Terraform configurations and modules
• Experience with Biceps (nice to have)
• Solid experience deploying and securing distributed apps with containers (Docker, Azure Kubernetes)
• Experience in DevOps/GitOps models (infra-as-code, config-as-code, policy-as-code)
• Proficient in translating designs into Terraform code
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure Cloud (certification is a plus)
• Solid understanding of cloud networking (subnets, routing, load balancing, firewalls, security)
• Experience in enterprise-scale environments (IaaS, PaaS)
• Familiarity with landing zones, cloud-native security, monitoring/logging tools, Well-Architected Framework
• Experience with CI/CD tools, container repos, DevOps pipelines
• Experience with infra-automation tools (Terraform, Ansible)
• Understanding of Data Platform technologies (ADF, Databricks, etc.)
• Experience with cloud logging, monitoring, observability tools (Grafana, Prometheus, etc.)
• Proficient in scripting languages (Bash, Powershell, CLI, Python)
