AI Engineer Intern

We are looking for an AI Engineer Intern to join our team and contribute to the enhancement of our internal benchmark tool. During this internship, the candidate will design, develop, and integrate new AI‑driven features into the platform. The intern will work on features end‑to‑end, from ideation to implementation and testing, and will collaborate closely with experienced professionals who will provide guidance throughout the process.

Your Role And Responsibilities

• Research and propose AI techniques that can improve the benchmark tool’s capabilities
• Design and implement new AI‑based features end‑to‑end, including data preparation, model development, evaluation, and integration
• Collaborate with senior engineers, data scientists, and domain experts to refine requirements and validate feature performance
• Test, debug, and document developed features to ensure quality and maintainability
• Participate in team discussions, share progress regularly, and contribute ideas for continuous improvement
  
  

Required Technical And Professional Expertise

• Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related field
• Skilled with Python and common ML libraries
• Basic understanding of machine learning concepts and common algorithms
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
• Strong curiosity and ambition to learn
• Fluent English and Dutch or French (written & spoken)
